Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using ProfileSpy (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. If you use ProfileSpy on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.

2. What the Service does

ProfileSpy estimates the authenticity of a public Instagram account's audience from public engagement signals and presents a score and breakdown. Scores are estimates and indicators — not official Instagram metrics, and not statements of fact about any person or business.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use ProfileSpy. You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code, and you're responsible for keeping access to that number secure and for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

Use ProfileSpy lawfully and responsibly. You agree not to: use scores to harass, defame or make factual accusations against anyone; scan for unlawful purposes; attempt to access private data or circumvent Instagram's protections; scrape, resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs at scale; or interfere with the Service's operation.

ProfileSpy only accesses information that is already public. You are responsible for how you use the results.

5. Free scans & Pro subscriptions

The free tier includes three scans per week, resetting weekly. Pro provides unlimited scans and additional features for $9.99/month or $54.99/year (USD).

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. They renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime through your app-store account and you'll retain Pro until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled under the applicable app store's policies.

6. Intellectual property

ProfileSpy, its logo, and the Service's design and software are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. Instagram and related marks belong to their owners; ProfileSpy is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Authenticity scores are estimates and may be inaccurate or incomplete; you should not rely on them as the sole basis for any significant decision. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProfileSpy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on scores. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these terms and will revise the "last updated" date above; continued use after changes means you accept them. We may modify or discontinue features over time. Questions? Email legal@profile-spy.com.
